I'm so excited to announce that I've just entered a few posts into a blog carnival for the first time!  For those unfamiliar, a blog carnival is an event where a blog or website owner decides to acquire or accept several entries on a topic, chooses the best, then posts something kind of like an online magazine featuring those articles. 

I've been wanting to participate in one, and yesterday I ran across this great blog called Today's Homemaker, right as she was announcing that she was accepting entries into her first blog carnival!
