It's Gardening time!!!
With dreams of both escaping the 9-5 AND saving the world (lofty dreams, I know), I've been working on starting a business...in organic gardening. Don't worry, I'm still a crafty gal who loves sewing, rehabilitating furniture and more and I'll keep doing and sharing those. However, I believe Spring fever has infected me and one of my symptoms is that I'm just ready to put on my crocs and start digging!I mentioned before that I'm moving and the new house will have 1/2 acre (approx), all just waiting for me to get my hands dirty! Oooh- I feel a bit like a kid in a candy store, I'm just so excited! My plans are to first block off some areas for new gardens, and to feel out the gardens that are already there and optimize them. Then I hope to have a vegetable garden as well as a sunflower folly, a small prairie, an herb garden and much more. I'm also hoping to minimize the lawn a bit (less grass to cut and maintain) but have some organic solutions to try to make the remaining grass gorgeous.
I will get back to you really soon about my new business...stay tuned!
