I recently redid the cupboard under the sink that got damaged with water damage. I'm such a dork, taking before and after pictures and I put them on my Flickr page :)

But you, you took something blah and made it into night stands, that's awesome!

Congrats on the move! I am sure you will love your "country" place and will learn the ropes rapidly. Growing and preserving your own food will bring not only hours of healthy activity in the out-of-doors, but days and months of fine eating! When you pull something from a canning jar or the freezer in the middle of winter you will be able to think back to the day you picked it! I learned canning from my mother-in-law and there are many fine websites that will give you information on processes and safety. I make full use of my small freezer and food dehydrator, too. YAY Jewelfaerie!!! Thanks for this wonderful post! I've been vegetarian for 13 years (no fish) and love every minute of it! Now the vegan transition is happening...ack.

When I was in the keys wearing my crocs, where I thought I was in style, I was told I was to young for them and take them off immediately and given flip flops from the store owner...I haven’t worn them since. But they are oh so comfy!

They do get your feet sweaty if you don't wear socks. However, the beauty in that case is that before you go inside from gardening or lawn work, you just spray off your feet, shoes and all and you're all cleaned up! If that doesn't appeal to you, however, just wear socks. That's what I do! Then you peel off your socks before walking in, leave the shoes outside for spraying off later, and you have clean tootsies and no tracking of grass and dirt .

Hmmm...never really got in on the whole Crocs phenomenon, but I have to ask -- are they really that comfortable for gardening? They look like they'd cause your feet to get all sweaty. Other than that curiosity, I have no opinion either way.
